Goodwill Industries of San Francisco and Round Rock, Texas-based Dell have launched the San Francisco Bay Area Computer Recycling Project. The pilot program provides drop-off recycling and reuse options for unwanted computers at no charge to residents. Goodwill will collect the computers, and materials with remaining value will be separated and be given to Dell’s Asset Recovery Services. Proceeds from equipment recovery will be returned to Goodwill, and materials without resale value will be recycled.
