Billie Eilish has taken to Instagram to announce her next album and she’s using it to spread the importance of thinking sustainably.

Along with the announcement of her third album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, Eilish has updated her website to include a sustainability info page. This new section of her website explains her newest album’s eco-innovations when it comes to a physical product.

According to her website, the black variant of her next album’s vinyl is made from 100% recycled black vinyl. The other seven colored vinyl albums will be made from ECO-MIX, which is created using 100% recycled compound made from leftovers of other colors which otherwise can’t be used. Additionally, all packaging is made from FSC certified recycled paper/boards made 100% from post-consumer waste and recycled pre-consumer fibers.

“We are doing everything we can to minimize waste in every aspect of my music,” said Eilish. “[My label has] listened to my concerns and helped me find the best way forward when releasing music and product into the world.”
