Republic Safety Films Receive Awards

Phoenix-based Republic Services has announced that two of its safety films have each received a CINE Golden Eagle Award. The films are “Our Safety Is in Your Hands,” which is a pedestrian safety awareness film, and “Defensive Driving — the Focus Six.”

“These training and awareness films are an important part of our effort to advance a culture where safety is always our number one priority and where we always make the right choices to protect the public and our employees,” said Shawn Mandel, manager of safety for Republic Services, in a press release. “Our company is committed to operating safely.”
