SpaceX Proposes Wastewater Dumping in South Bay, Texas

Environmental advocates and experts are calling on SpaceX to find a different solution for releasing its wastewater.

In a permit application to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the Elon Musk-owned enterprise has requested to dump up to 200,000 treated gallons of treated wastewater into Texas' South Bay daily.

Concerned parties say the release could threaten ecosystems, killing seagrass and wildlife.
