Reiling, Schrimbeck Partner to Build Glass Recycling Plant in Czech Republic

Reiling and Schirmbeck, two German recycling companies, are joining together to build a glass recycling plant in the Czech Republic.

Reiling and Schirmbeck, two German recycling companies, are joining together to build a glass recycling plant in the Czech Republic.

Last year, the two companies sought out to take on the challenges of the European glass industry by founding the joint company, Czech ‘SR Glass Recycling.’ Both companies will hold an equal 50% stake in the new company.

The project will reduce long transportation routes, costs, and CO2 because both companies already collect glass in the Czech Republic. Before, glass had been imported to Germany and processed in the company’s glass recycling plants and then exported back to the Czech Republic.
