For the 2023 season, the Cincinnati Bengals worked with PureCycle technologies to recycle thousands of pounds of plastic, aluminum, cardboard, and more.

Through the partnership, the two entities recycled more than 85,000 pounds of plastic and aluminum, and another 127,000 pounds of cardboard.

“The Bengals are really sophisticated. They’re ahead of the curve when it comes to their sustainability efforts, and so it was really nice to partner up with them to help fine-tune some of the edges and make some good improvements,” said Dustin Olson, Chief Executive Officer of PureCycle Technologies.

PureCycle has worked with the Cincinnati Bengals for the last two years. The uptick in recycling can be attributed to education throughout the organization, signage for fans about recycling, and asking fans to leave plastic waste at their seats to be collected after games.
