Brightmark Energy, a San Francisco-based chemical plastic recycling company located in Indiana, has encountered a lot of criticism for its proposed method of recycling plastics.

The company, which opened its facility in 2019 is struggling to operate on a commercial basis. The company is slated to send out its first shipment of fuel in September of 2022 to its main customer; BP.
