Rumpke Waste & Recycling hosted a ribbon cutting on June 13 for its new corporate headquarters (HQ) in Colerain Township near Cincinnati, Ohio. The 74,000-plus-square-foot building is expected to “serve as the gateway for Rumpke’s future,” according to the company.
“The three-story building boasts a variety of elements to make employees feel both inspired and comfortable at work,” said Rumpke in a statement. “The new HQ brought together 180 employees from seven different buildings with the potential for continued growth and more creative innovation sparked by an increased opportunity for collaboration.”
Rumpke broke ground on the project on September 17, 2017, and moved into the new offices on January 14. The architect on the project was McGill, Smith, Punshon, Inc., and the builder was the Miller-Valentine Group.
In all, Rumpke’s team of 3,100 employees service Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and West Virginia. The 87-year-old, family owned firm owns or operates 14 landfills and 11 recycling facilities, including a unique glass processing operation.
HQ tours followed the private ribbon cutting ceremony on June 13.
