Cyclyx International, a consortium-based post-use plastic innovation company with a mission to increase the recyclability of plastic from 10% to 90%, announces Teknor Apex as its newest member.

Heartland Water Technology, Inc., a market leader in the turnkey delivery and operations of proprietary wastewater treatment and waste conversion solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Beaufait as its new President and Chief Executive Officer effective April 17, 2023. Beaufait has been a member of Heartland's Board of Directors since 2017.

Beaufait brings over 20 years of leadership experience building global technology-focused businesses, having served in executive roles with the General Electric Company, Vestas, and Sarcos Robotics. Most recently he served as the President and CEO of Sharper Shape Inc., an asset intelligence software solution company which utilizes automation and artificial intelligence (AI) to help customers improve operations, reliability, and safety of critical infrastructure. 

ICIS is pleased to announce Jodie Morgan, CEO of Nexus Circular, as the winner of the 2023 ICIS Emerging Leader Award.

The award recognizes a leader whose early contribution has driven excellence within their organisation, demonstrating strong leadership and making meaningful contributions to the chemical sector.

Since her appointment as CEO of Nexus Circular in November 2021, Morgan has overseen an equity raise of over $150 million, the securing of long-term contracts to supply pyrolysis oil feedstock to major polymers producers to produce circular virgin-quality plastics that offset fossil-based resources, and the expansion of manufacturing capacity at two sites.

Inframark, a leading provider of water and wastewater operations and maintenance services across the U.S., today announced the appointment of Greg Guard as its president of the Automation and Intelligence (A&I) division and chief strategy officer. Mr. Guard, who most recently served as the chief growth officer, will report to Inframark's CEO Steve Meininger. Formerly the president at JWC Environmental and CEO of CLEARAS Water, Mr. Guard has significant experience as an executive within the water and environmental services sector since 2006.

Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS), a Midwest independent waste, recycling, and portable services provider, announced the addition of two executives to its leadership team.

These strategic appointments underscore LRS's dedication to redefining resource recovery management while upholding financial excellence,the company stated.

WasteFuel, a California-based biofuels company, announced today the appointment of Peter Votkjaer Jorgensen, former Partner in Maersk Growth, the venture arm of the A.P. Moller – Maersk Group, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective October 1, 2023.

Peter will be responsible for the financial management of the company, support the company’s international relationships and partnerships, and work with the executive team to drive WasteFuel’s next stage of growth.
