Cyclyx International, a consortium-based, post-use plastic innovation company with a mission to increase the recyclability of plastic from 10% to 90%, announces AstroTurf, a top-rated ESG brand renowned for pioneering and consistently advancing synthetic turf systems, has joined the Cyclyx consortium.  

EnviroServe is pleased to announce the opening of a new operation near Kansas City, Kansas, its first in the state. The new operation expands the reach of EnviroServe's comprehensive services to support customers from waste generation to disposal, with a nation-wide network of 36 locations.

Ensolum, LLC is pleased to announce the hiring of Kyle Schildt, Senior Managing Engineer, in the company's Denver, Colorado office. Mr. Schildt brings a new service line for Ensolum into the Front Range of Colorado and will assist with developing new business, expanding client relationships, and hiring and managing staff.

After co-founding Grove Collaborative in 2012 and successfully leading the Company for over a decade, Stuart Landesberg will step down as CEO effective August 16, 2023 to become the Company’s Executive Chairman of the Board. Mr Landesberg will continue to oversee strategy, capital markets, and corporate development among other things.

Jeff Yurcisin, former CEO of direct to consumer brands Zulily and Shopbop, and a long time Amazon executive, has been appointed the Company’s new CEO, effective August 16, 2023. Mr. Yurcisin will also join Grove’s Board of Directors. As CEO of Grove, Mr. Yurcisin will oversee the Company’s next chapter – to transform the consumer products industry to be a positive force for human and environmental health, and to drive profitable growth rooted in sustainable product innovation, customer-centricity and market expansion initiatives and identifying new opportunities.

Patriot Environmental is pleased to welcome Ryan Bunch to its team as our new VP of Operations.

Before joining Patriot Environmental, Ryan worked at Environmental Specialties International. ESI is the largest contracted installer of geosynthetic lining materials in the United States. In 2019 ESI acquired Patriot Environmental, and since then the two companies, while operating independently, have worked together.

The REMADE Institute, a 170-member public-private partnership established and funded in part by the United States Department of Energy (DOE), today announced a new technology license involving technology developed with REMADE support. The license involves a technological innovation capable of removing metallic impurities from recycled aluminum melts, thereby improving the quality of the aluminum and allowing it to be used for more diverse applications, including electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing.

Trilogy MedWaste, a provider of regulated medical waste, hazardous waste, and reusable sharps management services, today announced that the Company’s Board of Directors has appointed Russell Schuster as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Bringing a wealth of industrial experience and a client orientation, Russell plans to advance the Company’s mission of reliable, nationwide partnership to the healthcare industry.

Upstream, a non-profit sparking innovative solutions to plastic pollution, announced that Crystal Dreisbach has been appointed as the new CEO of the organization. Crystal, an innovative disruptor of the throw-away economy and pioneer in the reuse movement, formerly headed Don't Waste Durham, a waste prevention organization in Durham, North Carolina. She's focused extensively on preventing trash in the first place through innovation, policy change, and circular economy strategies. Read more here.
