Florida Resident's Well in Danger of Contamination Due to Illegal Dumping

Jason Kleinrichert runs Tropical Landscapers in Florida and now finds himself in a concerning situation over his neighbor’s trash habits.

Kleinrichert says that there are, “roof tiles and cow manure stockpiles about 200 feet away from my well.” Kleinrichert has said that his neighbor is to blame for the dumping issue.

The Palm Beach County Planning, Zoning & Building Department posted a ‘Stop Work’ order on Klienrichert’s neighbor’s property, however, Kleinrichert has said that he has seen his neighbor continue to dump roofing debris and manure.

“Everybody just assumes, ‘oh, it’s roof.’ Okay, there’s tar, there’s gypsum, there’s glue, there’s metals.” Kleinrichert said, “and everybody back here is on a well. …But you don’t just bring that stuff in and then just contaminate everybody’s stuff.”
