Hawaii's High Technology Development Corp. has sponsored a demonstration of a $6.8 million Air Force investment in a renewable and clean, waste to energy generating system.
The waste-to-energy project demonstration will show how 10 tons of waste per day can be converted to electricity through gasification technology. Applications of the Turnw2e, Waste-To-Energy Gasification system include solid waste, animal and crop wastes, cellulosic biomass, tires, non-recyclable plastics, and industrial waste.
