Waste Collection Collapses in New Orleans

Waste collection in New Orleans over the holiday season ground to a halt after multiple missed pickups and delays.

The city's administration has been in battle with its contractors. For Richard's Disposal - a company that covers half of the municipality, complaints have been piling up. NOLA's previous contractor, Metro Service Group, was replaced by two other service providers just months ago.

More then 2,000 complaints were filed over the past month.
