The Demand for Sustainable Packaging is Growing

The esthetic of how online orders are packaged is important. But, with more than half of U.S. consumers concerned about the environmental impact of packaging (McKinsey & Company), packing materials are as important as the overall appearance. 

For example, Better & Better’s organic toothpaste comes in reduced plastic pouches and ships in recycled materials. Its products also arrive wrapped in degradable tissue paper, creating a gift-opening experience. Little Seed Farms who produces sustainable skincare goods offers a zero-waste shipping option on applicable products and when it is selected, the company eliminates unnecessary product packaging. And bars of soap are shipped without a product box, comingled with other items in a single order package.
