Coyuchi, a San Francisco- based sustainable home brand, has created the Full Circle Recycled Cotton Blanket and Throw. Unlike other blankets on the market, Coyuchi’s blanket is made from 52 percent recycled cotton that is reclaimed from customers, along with 48 percent organically grown cotton. Coyuchi partnered with the Renewal Workshop (TRW), a leader in recycling fabrics, to create the blanket.

Coyuchi is on a mission to use sustainable materials in its products. The company also uses only organically grown cotton and nontoxic dyeing techniques. Using recycled cotton compared to a traditional cotton blanket, the blanket saves the equivalent of 3,366 days’ worth of water, 22 miles of driving emissions and 147 square feet of pesticides.

For three years, Coyuchi has collaborated with customers to send in pieces of products they were no longer using and in return they receive a 15 percent discount on their next purchase.
