A Georgia-based company wants to build and operate a special waste landfill west of Killdeer in Dunn County and will explain the project at a meeting tonight.
Green Group Holdings representatives will be available from 6 to 8 p.m. at the High Plains Cultural Center in Killdeer, with its presentation set to start at 6:15 p.m.
The company is asking the public to come and get first-hand information about a landfill for drill cuttings and spill material 12 miles west of Killdeer and 1 mile south off of Highway 200.
