Staten Island Trashed; Residents Point Fingers at De Blasio

Sanitation workers in New York City are protesting the COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Staten Island in particular is "holding strong."

More than 9,000 workers were placed on leave Monday and trash continues to pile up despite Mayor Bill Di Blasio's claims that there have been no disruptions to service. About 12,000 workers requested a religious exemption to receiving the vaccine.

Staten Island is a "conservative-learning borough" that has continued to protest against COVID mandates across all industries.
