The city of Columbia, Mo. will not be collecting residential recycling curbside this week after Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services confirmed that several employees and temporary staffers had been exposed to COVID-19.

The exposed workers will be placed in isolation, according to a Saturday evening news release from the city. The number of people affected is "sufficient enough to prevent the utility from collecting both trash and recycling from residential curbside customers," according to the city.
