Wynnchurch Acquires Labrie Environmental Group

Rosemont, IL – Sept. 8, 2020 – Wynnchurch Capital, L.P. (“Wynnchurch”) announced today that it has acquired Labrie Environmental Group, LLC (“Labrie” or the ​“Company”). Labrie is a leading manufacturer of refuse collection vehicles and related parts. Founded in 1971, Labrie is an industry leader with a full suite of highly engineered side loader, front loader, and rear loader vehicles that it sells through a network of dealers.

Wynnchurch Capital is actively seeking investment opportunities for its $2.277 billion Fund V. In February, Wynnchurch acquired Pennsylvania Machine Works and in April, Western Flange. These businesses were consolidated into a fully integrated manufacturer of high pressure forged fittings, flanges, and branch connections that are sold into refining, petrochemical, LNG, industrial and military end markets. Other recent Wynnchurch investments include: Clyde Industries, a leading designer and manufacturer of sootblowers, a critical component within recovery, power, and steam boilers; Eastern Metal Supply, a leading value-added distributor of aluminum extrusions and related products; MPL Holdings, a leader in cultured marble products for the hospitality and multi-family housing markets; and two closed-die forging facilities of Allegheny Technologies that produce high-value, complex forgings for OEMs.
