Capital Waste Services Acquires Florida Roll-Off Provider Herrington Industries

Capital Waste Services (CWS) has expanded its service area in Florida with the purchase of roll-off dumpster and landfill services provider Herrington Industries.

Palatka-based Herrington's C&D landflll in the Northeast Florida region has more than 50 years remaining before it reaches capacity.

Matt Parker, CWS CEO, commented on the company's expansion in the state, calling the market "ripe for growth."

He added, "CWS remains focused on continued acquisitions and growth throughout the Southeast.'

Brian Yorston, CWS COO, echoed Parker's statement.

“Establishing a presence within Florida is a strong step forward for Capital Waste," he said. "The CWS team has a proven track record of identifying and integrating quality assets and we are excited to welcome Herrington Industries into the CWS family. This acquisition provides CWS with a strong platform to provide best-in-class services to customers throughout the broader Jacksonville region and establish our brand within the state of Florida."

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
