Pandemic disruptions have caused a delay in upgrades slated for Juneau, Alaska's landfill, resulting in an uptick in unpleasant odors.
Waste Management, who manages the landfill, indicated that the completion of 40 new gas collection wells should be finished by the end of January. Other changes in operations include improvements in the cover process and reducing working face.
