Skinquarter Landfill in Virginia is generating discussion among residents as they say the smell of rotten eggs is overpowering.
The landfill, which is owned by WB Waste Solutions, comprises of construction demolition debris. Household trash is not permitted. Testing done at the site detected hydrogen sulfide.
As a response, WB Waste Solutions upgraded itsĀ gas scrubbing and filtration system last September and installed a larger unit in November.
