Pennsylvania Landfill Operator Fined $25,000

A Rostraver, Penn. landfill operator and waste hauler have been fined for improperly disposing municipal trash.

County Hauling rented two trucks "to supplement its fleet of more than 150 garbage trucks." However, the trucks did not have the proper stickers to be used for disposal of municipal trash.

Westmoreland Sanitary Landfill LLC and County Hauling LLC have agreed to provide $25,000 worth of trash collection and hauling services to community cleanup within the next five years.
