No Plans to Close Seneca Meadows Landfill

Despite a local law that indicates that Seneca Meadow landfill needs to close by Dec. 31, 2025, that will not happen, Seneca Meadows Inc. officials are saying.

SMI is part of Waste Connections. The DEC is requiring the company to provide a "full environmental impact statement" that will show how expansion would affect the area. SMI is challenging the law that would require the closure.
