Man Uses Falcon to Drive Seagulls Away from Texas Landfill

At a Republic Services landfill in Arlington, Texas, the company sees more than 850 trucks on a daily basis.

With that much trash comes critters and scavengers, especially troves of seagulls. That's where Fal-Tech Inc. comes in.

A master falconer since 16 years old, Roger Crandall has trained peregrine falcons to perform specialized tasks. He currently visits the landfill and uses the birds of prey to drive away the feathered nuisances.
