Chemical Spill at Glenn County Landfill Cleaned Up

A chemical spill is reported in Glenn County after improper disposal of household substances. 

The spill, occurring at a Glenn County landfill sorting building, has led to the facility's closure. Hazmat responders have identified the chemical to be a combination of muriatic acid and other unknown substances. The staff member who reported the chemical shows no symptoms of illness and will not be pursuing medical attention, however, the facility will be closed until Thursday.
