Bay City Commission Seeks Follow-Up Testing in Middlegrounds Landfill Cleanup Project

Bay City Commissioners amended a contract with Regenesis Remediation Service to perform follow-up testing at Middletown Landfill.

A "pilot testing phase" that would advance the remediation of pollutants at the Michigan landfill began in 2021. The original testing was "not conducive to a successful pilot test" and therefore warranted an additional round, according to local news outlet MLive.
