Jacqueline O’Donovan Resigns as Managing Director of O’Donovan Waste Disposal

Jacqueline O’Donovan has officially resigned from her Managing Director of the London-based waste company, O’Donovan Waste Disposal.

Jacqueline O’Donovan has officially resigned from her Managing Director of the London-based waste company, O’Donovan Waste Disposal.

With her resignation, O’Donovan leaves the company in the hands of new owners, Sortera, a Nordic recycling firm that bought O’Donovan Waste Disposal in 2022. O’Donovan took over as Managing Director at the age of 19 following the passing of her father and worked in her position for 36 years.

O’Donovan mention that she is moving on to an “exciting new chapter of her career” while leaving “O’Donovan Waste Disposal in the very capable hands of Sortera.”

“I am excited with what we plan to achieve in 2024 and beyond, with our aim of being the partner of choice in respect of sustainable construction,” said Mark McCleery, Managing Director of Sortera UK.
