How to Keep Animals Away From Your Compost Bins

Residents of Prince George’s County, Maryland recently began their journey with curbside composting pickup, and with that comes some new challenges. Residents noticed animals were now more drawn to their trash and composting bins. County officials suggested several ways to prevent this from happening. One of these ways was to layer food scraps with yard waste in the bins.
