Over the years, the topic of commercial waste collection zones has gained traction both inside and outside of the waste and recycling industry. And while there are both pros and cons to franchise zoning systems, the industry is split when it comes to supporting the concept. Two of the industry’s largest playing fields, New York City and Los Angeles, have moved forward with commercial waste zone systems, and in this session, you’ll learn about the differences and similarities between the two systems, LA’s lessons learned, what NYC’s new system will mean for haulers and more.
