Advanced Disposal Buys Construction Waste Services

Jacksonville, Fla.-based Advanced Disposal Services has acquired Construction Waste Services, which operates in the greater Charlotte, N.C., area. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

With the deal, Advanced Disposal acquired 11 trucks, 522 roll-off containers and seven commercial roll-off routes. A “large majority” of Construction Waste Services workers will join Advanced Disposal, according to a press release detailing the transaction.

“We’re pleased to add to our commercial customer base in the Charlotte market through this acquisition, which affirms our strategy to grow our Carolinas operation,” said Advanced Disposal’s Mid-South Area President Gerald Greene in the press release. “Our goal is to build upon Construction Waste Services’ great reputation and carry on both companies’ strong tradition of quality service and commitment to the community. We’re also welcome the new employees to the Advanced Disposal team.”
