Constellium Muscle Shoals has agreed to pay $75,000 to settle claims it did not perform required inspections and record-keeping.

The Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) recently announced the settlement with the aluminum recycling facility after its reported violations were found during an inspection in April. ADEM also said that Consellium did not provide requested records for months after they were requested.

While Consellium disagreed with the alleged violations, it agreed to negotiate a settlement to resolve the matter.
