1. What Happens When Home Meal Delivery Meal Programs Switch to Reusable Containers?

Forty percent of plastics produced are only intended to be used once. In order to curb the amount of single-use plastics that are produced, an organization called Beyond Plastics is working to promote reusable containers. The organization has begun its work with Meals on Wheels programs as they are already closed-loop systems.

2. The Problem with Pumpkin Waste (Infographic)

As Halloween passes and we continue through the autumn season, a lot of pumpkins are purchased and used for decoration. With such a high amount of pumpkins in bought, once they start to go bad, they turn into a high amount of organic waste. Waste360 would like to inform you of how important it is to divert this waste from landfills and put it to use by composting.

3. Global E-Waste Emissions Jump 53 Percent Between 2014 and 2020

Between 2014 and 2020 E-waste GHG emissions rose 53 percent. A recent study on the Circular Economy looked into this to see why it has grown so much and what we can do to slow down the impacts of E-waste. The study suggested researching the lifespan of electronics and promoting tech that is built to last longer.
