Forty percent of plastics produced are only intended to be used once. In order to curb the amount of single-use plastics that are produced, an organization called Beyond Plastics is working to promote reusable containers. The organization has begun its work with Meals on Wheels programs as they are already closed-loop systems.

3. Global E-Waste Emissions Jump 53 Percent Between 2014 and 2020

A recent study on the Circular Economy looked into this to see why it has grown so much and what we can do to slow down the impacts of E-waste. The study suggested researching the lifespan of electronics and promoting tech that is built to last longer.
