Airmall USA and Greenlight Biofuels have partnered to recycle waste cooking oil from tenants at the Baltimore/Washington International Airport.

Pittsburgh-based Airmall, an airport concessions firm, said in a news release that Charlottsville, Va.-based GreenLight will work with the company to collect and recycle waste cooking oil into biodiesel.

Airmall said that biodiesel can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 78 percent.
