Michigan Sustainability Leader Amy Butler Kennaugh Dies at 66

A sustainability leader known for her dedication to the cause passed away at the age of 66 on January 8.

Michigan State University's Director of Sustainability Amy Butler Kennaugh was known for her leadership in numerous environmentally-focused roles throughout the state, most notably in the State Energy Office and Environmental Science and Services Division.

Colleagues and friends noted her passion for sustainability and the impact she made on students and staff.
