The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency expects to finish within a week cleaning up chemical hazards created by a fire on Feb. 4 that destroyed the house at 25 Jacamar Court in Springboro.
“I’m thinking were going to be done within a week at most,” Steve Renninger, the EPA official managing the cleanup, said Tuesday.
Renninger met Tuesday with other officials involved in a unified command set up since the chemical hazards were discovered in February, about a week after the fire.
