A woman was killed Tuesday morning after being hit by a City of Rochester garbage truck in Rochester.

According to Rural/Metro Ambulance, the accident happened near Lexington Avenue and Lark Street. That is located near School No. 34.

The woman was taken in serious condition to Rochester General Hospital.
