Some residents in Pittsylvania County, Va., are raising concerns over the fact that the county is removing several green dumpsters to make room for new trash compactors. This action, according to residents, is causing dumpsters to overflow.
In response to these complaints, the county is keeping an eye on the overflowing dumpsters and considering adding more dumpsters until the compactors can be put in place.

Some families living in the Callands-Gretna district in Pittsylvania County are concerned after several green boxes for their trash were taken away.
James Owen, a local resident, said there used to be 12 green boxes dumpsters for trash, but now he shared that there are only two.
"Those two [are] getting overfilled, trash is flowing out; running all over the place, winds blowing it, animals [are] getting in it," he said.
