A New Orleans based glass recycling facility started by a set of friends in college just received a $20,000 grant from Amazon Business. The company, Glass Half Full diverts glass waste from landfills and aims to use it in creative ways that promote sustainability. The facility also creates jobs working in the waste, recycling, and green industries. The grant is part of Amazon Businesses small business grants program and 13 other small companies were awarded.
