Waste Pro Acquires Delta Sanitation

Longwood, Florida-based Waste Pro has purchased Gautier, Miss.-based Delta Sanitation. The acquisition is the largest in Waste Pro’s history, the hauler says. Waste Pro did not close the purchase price, but a company press release says the acquisition “consisted of cash and Waste Pro stock.”

The acquisition of Delta includes residential, commercial and industrial hauling services; a recycling facility; and two commercial and demolition/industrial landfills. Delta employs 124 workers.
