Stericycle Launches Carbon Footprint Estimator

Lake Forest, Ill.-based Stericycle has launched its online Carbon Footprint Estimator, which is designed to show hospitals the amount of greenhouse gas emissions they are producing.

The site also is intended to show hospitals how they can reduce their greenhouse gas emissions (i.e., reduce their carbon footprint) by using recyclable containers for sharps disposal instead of disposable containers that end up in landfills.
