The man accused of shooting and killing his boss at Houston’s Solid Waste Management Department bonded out of jail Tuesday evening, less than 48 hours after the murder.
Prosecutors say he confessed to walking into the office of his boss, Michael Vaughn, Monday morning and fatally shooting him. But on Tuesday night, Tyrone Auzenne painted himself as the victim of workplace bullying.
Auzenne left the Harris County Jail, released on $50,000 bond, still wearing an orange work shirt marked SWM, for Solid Waste Management. He wouldn't answer any questions about the case, but did say, "I'm not doing too well, Ma'am, but it is what it is.”
