Arlington, VA – The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) launched its redesigned website, which is easier to navigate and highlights the work NWRA does to advocate for the waste and recycling industry.

On the website, visitors will find issue briefs; information on state and local issues; national, state and local advocacy information; an annual congressional calendar; an annual federal legislative and regulatory agenda; a list of upcoming events and webinars; assocation news and press releases; safety materials such as Safety Monday and information on efforts such as Slow Down to Get Around, which reminds motorists to drive more carefully when near waste and recycling collection vehicles; membership benefits; COVID-19 resources; information about NWRA’s chapters, committees and awards; and much more.

“NWRA is the leading trade association for the waste and recycling industry. We wanted to showcase that with our redesigned website. It’s easier now to learn more about our advocacy efforts, our events and access important safety information,” said NWRA President and CEO Darrell Smith. “We designed the website so that anyone—NWRA members, the media or those just curious about NWRA—could find what they were looking for with just a few clicks.”
