Clarksville to Upgrade Wastewaster Treatment Plant

The Clarksville landfill has received a 15 million dollar fund from the American Rescue Plan Act that will be added to the facilities fund to update its wastewater treatment equipment. The project will cost 40 million dollars total and be completed in two years.

The landfill in Clarksville is one step closer to making significant changes to its wastewater facility. Receiving a 15 million dollar fund from the American Rescue Plan Act, the project is now much more prepared to begin this process. The infrastructure upgrades will eliminate the stench that currently emanates from the landfill. They are expected to complete the updates in two years.
