The city of Atlanta is looking for a hauler to take trash from transfer stations to a distant landfill after a judge recently ordered the metropolitan area's main landfill, Live Oak, to close in 2005. The city will select a company based on a variety of criteria, including price, financial status, experience and methods. City officials hope to have a contract in place by late November 2004.
