Staff Shortages Cause Baltimore to Adjust Recycling Schedule

The pandemic is causing massive staff shortages at Baltimore's Department of Public Works, causing the city to scale back curbside collection efforts.

About 37 percent of the city's sanitation workers have been out of work each day. To accommodate this, recycling collection will move to every other week.

Bulk trash pickup will not be affected.
