Man Arrested for Operating Rogue Landfill in Spain

A resident of Fuente Alamo de Murcia in Southern Spain is under heat for operating a  rogue landfill for construction and demolition waste.

The Civil Guard posted surveillance at the man's 15,000 sq. meter plot of land and discovered large tonnage trucks dumping inert materials and construction waste. into a hole. Upon further investigation, they found the man lacked the proper permits to operate. 

Bricks, cement, plaster, solvents, paints and asphalt were found in piles and holes. Authorities are investigating the environmental impact of the deed, saying that the landowner's case will be further tried in court for the crime against natural resources.
