Milwaukee-based Veolia ES Solid Waste Inc. has acquired Panama City, Fla.-based Parker Sanitation, which provides residential and commercial waste services. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
“The acquisition of Parker Sanitation allows us to expand our operations and break into the Panama City market,” said Jim Long, president and CEO of Veolia ES Solid Waste, in a press release. “We will look to improve service through implementation of our route optimization to efficiently serve the community.”
Just more than two weeks ago, Veolia ES Solid Waste acquired three waste collection firms that it will “tuck into” its operations in Pennsylvania, Alabama and Illinois. Veolia did not release the financial details of the transactions. Veolia purchased JC Sanitation in McClellandtown, Pa.; Treesmith Inc. in Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and Suburban Disposal and Recycling in Warrensburg, Ill.
