New York -- To help its citizens learn how to prevent waste, cut energy costs and conserve resources, the New York Department of Sanitation (DSNY) has updated and redesigned the NYCWasteLe$$ Web site:. The site offers waste prevention and recycling information, and is divided into three sections for residents, businesses and government agencies. The site also provides tools to help users calculate potential waste prevention savings and cites annotated listings of various organizations, vendors and services.
