he City of Dothan is moving forward with expansion of its current landfill, and commissioners are expected to approve the next step Tuesday.
Because the expansion is expected to disrupt environmentally recognized wetlands, the city must mitigate the wetland disruption somehow. Tuesday, the commission is expected to approve the purchase of $116,000 in stream and wetland credits.
